About the author

Heather White is the founder and CEO of ‘Smarter Networking’ which was born out of frustration in 2001. Networking just didn’t work for her, so not one to be defeated, she studied and watched those who were successful until she unlocked the secrets. Today there is very little Heather doesn’t know about networking from most situations and angles. The learning never stops as she carries on interviewing and studying professionals who use networking as a successful tool.

Her experience to date has taken her across most industries, sectors, situations and a wide range of teams. The problems we solve include motivating people to ‘get out there’, increase confidence and willingness, highlighting the benefits and helping people to be effective. We focus on the individual strengths and uniqueness blending this with the market and business objectives.

Our approach is to understand where people’s mindset is right now and then help them to get to a far more efficient place as quick as possible. We break down the barriers, get into the essence of needs and move to that place.

If it seems difficult, Heather can make it easy. If it seems complex, she can explain it in simple terms. And if it seems challenging, she can motivate people to meet that challenge – and enjoy themselves in the process.
