George Burns

Most of us will experience bereavement at some point during our working lives. During the mid-1980s in the USA it was estimated that $75 billion dollars were lost per year due to grief in the workplace. Whatever the rate of exchange – that comes to a lot of ££££s! The question is – how do you deal with grief in the workplace by remaining compassionate, without at the same time losing sight of the need to meet deadlines and keep up the levels of productivity?
